About:
Michelle Scurio, founder and owner of Cake Monstah, started her first business at the young age of 17. She has always been passionate about baking and turned her love of cakes into a career. She attended Johnson & Wales University and received a degree in Baking and Pastry arts and management. Since starting her company in 2010 she has been featured in several magazines and won awards for her cake artistry. Her mission is to bring joy to others with her custom pieces of edible art.

What’s next?
Once you are ready to book your event you will need to place a 50% non-refundable deposit to hold your date.
Deposits can be accepted via venmo, paypal, apple pay and all major debit/credit cards.
We work on a first come first serve basis and tend to book up quickly. Once a date is full we can no longer take on any more clients, your deposit will ensure your spot is saved. Deposits are used to block off time for your date and purchase ingredients and supplies specific for your order.
Final balances for weddings need to be paid off 3 weeks prior to the event. Final balances for all other events can be paid at the time of pick up or delivery.
If you need to cancel your event for some reason and would like to reschedule we will allow you to apply your deposit towards your new event date with your same order. We will need at least a months notice in advance to reschedule any orders. Any cancellations made the week of an event will result in loss of your deposit to be used as a credit on a future order as your items will already be in progress.

Pricing
Our pricing is determined by the amount of detail and design in which your cake or dessert entails. In order to get the most accurate pricing we will need to know the date of your event, the number of guests you are trying to serve and any photos of the design or theme you have in mind. We have some standard prices below for bakery items that we feature at our shop! For all custom order inquiries please contact us directly to receive the most accurate price quote.
